Due to the ever evloving situtation with COVID-19, The Wellington Open 2020 will be postponed until further notice. Please bear with us as we navigate through these ever changing times.

Tournament conditions

• 6 rounds will be played. Four on Saturday and two on Sunday, with the possibility of any tie-breaker games played on the Sunday.
• New Zealand rules will be used. Breaking the rules will result in immediate loss of the game and possible disqualification from the tournament.
• Fischer (20m+15s/move) time control will be used, with 20 minutes main time and an additional 15 seconds per move.
